"I discovered Ultrafab & started talking to Tom the proprietor, Adside from being a busy man I was struck with his professionalism. From the outlet, my RAM was in his workshop being prepared for a completely fresh start & a new touring canopy. Tom & I hashed out a preliminary design combining his years of experience of manufacture & adventuring with my lifetime of custom builds, remote travelling & work the project then started. Working with Tom throughout his creative process has proven to be a synergy of brute effort, long days & nights, fresh insights with new ideas & creative solutions beyond expectation. Tom reminds me of the craftsman of yesteryear who took pride in service, good practical solutions quality of detail & an attitude not only of seeing a bespoke project to completion but with integrity all the way. Ultrafab HQ is a bit of a rare business now-a-days, unique since it is uncommon to find a business willing to consider making something a customer would envision & like beyond the ordinary. "Travelling on the road practically full-time it was always a dream for us to have the ultimate touring rig. Yes we have had several touring trucks but nothing on the level that Tom & the guys at Ultra Fab have done for us on our 3500 Ram from start to finish the owner himself was across the board on this Build not only guiding us through the process but giving us some great options & advice that we never ever dream we could have in our Canopy build. Having a boat loader was a must but incorporating a full integrated rooftop tent was next level for us. It enables us to leave the caravan behind & completely live in comfort with all the mod cons. This has never been done, or we have never seen this style of Canopy anywhere in the world. Tom didn’t go just above & beyond on the inside of the canopy the external lines on the Canopy float through to the same lines as the Truck which wasn’t even thought of by us it just what the guys did & it created a sleek & sophisticated look, the craftsmanship & work that has gone into this canopy, nothing was a problem for the guys to do and time frames were always meet. It is a credit to Tom the owner of Ultra Fab & the amazing crew he has working there. We were over the moon when we pick up the truck it just takes our adventures to a whole new level.
